No, you can immediately make a hotel booking with your gift card. Search for a hotel and - on the booking payment screen - enter the codes you find on the back of your gift card.
Unfortunately lost gift cards cannot be refunded / reissued.

Rest of the world: 3 weeks
If you haven't received your gift after the above defined period (starting from the ordering date), please send an email to service@hotelgiftcard.com indicating:
- The invoice number
- The original email address (the email address used when placing the order)
- Your name
- Your phone number
Provided the original gift cards have not been used, we will resend the order and deactivate the original gift cards.

Yes, the gift card value is written on the 'with compliments' card in the gift box.
The remainder stays valid indefinitely for another hotel booking.
Please note: the remainder cannot be used for payment of any costs at the hotel (e.g. consumptions).
Calculation example:
You make a hotel reservation of $80 with a $100 gift card. $20 remains on the gift card.
With the same gift card you make another booking of $80, you pay $20 with your gift card and $60 by online payment (e.g. by Mastercard or VISA).
